Night Time/Low Light Photography
Wednesdays, June 4, 11, 18, 25; July 9, 16, 23 *no class July 2
6:00 - 8:00 PM
Location: Cooney 239
Instructor: Meg McKinney
Ages 18+
Explore the world around us – at sunset, dusk, after dark. Learn to use camera settings, controls, to create images for time exposure, light painting, activities, night portrait(s), fireworks, etc. Must have tripod, cable release, 35mm DSLR, lens(es), strobe flash, flashlight, digital downloading to show photos in class. Field trips TBD in class.
Prerequisite: Beginning Photography; Understanding Your Nikon/Canon.
Supplies Needed: DSLR, Tripod, Lenses
Directions from I-65:
Take exit 255, Lakeshore Drive. From the north, turn left; from the south, turn right. Continue on Lakeshore Drive for 2 miles, and turn left into Samford University’s main gate. Then take the first right. Continue past Propst Hall, 2 stop signs. Cooney Hall (Business) will be on your left. Park in any available space. Cooney 239
Directions from US-31 and US-280:
Exit onto Lakeshore Drive, going west. Continue on Lakeshore, and turn right into Samford University’s main gate. Then take the first right. Continue past Propst Hall, 2 stop signs. Cooney Hall (Business) will be on your left. Park in any available space. Cooney 239
Parking:
You will be allowed to park anywhere except Handicap Spaces and Fire Lanes. No parking permit is required after 5pm.
