The Best Is Yet to Be
An autobiographical sketch by my father. (Maybe only of interest to family members, but it contains some very interesting anecdotes.)
Please check out my son, Wesley's home page. It is the jimlapbap page and features a few of the songs he has composed, arranged, etc.

His YouTube persona is not as academic as his other compositions:

Here are some of my favorites:

"Sail" as a Sea Shanty (You've gotta' hear this one! Look how many likes he got.)
"Spoonful of Fiddlers" (A hilarious cover of a Broadway hit in the style of another Broadway hit.)
"Bible Passages That Probably Won't Make it to Praise Songs" (An original composition of one of my all-time favorites!)
Nickelback's "Rock Star" as a Barbershop Quartet ("Barbershop Star")
"Fireflies" (A cappella transcription)
"Replay (Shawty's Like a Melody in My Head)" Barbershop Arrangement
Nickelback, Barbershop-style

2014 Review Barbershop Revue
2013 Review Barbershop Revue (Miley Cyrus, "What Does the Fox Say?", Lady Gaga, and 15 more)
2012 Review Barbershop Revue ("Call Me Maybe," "Gangnam Style," and 7 others)
"Teenagers" (My Chemical Romance) Ragtime Piano Cover (I love it!)
"Arachibutyrophobia" (the fear of peanut butter getting stuck on the roof of one's mouth) An original composition and video. (The last verse is actually sung with peanut butter stuck to the roof of his mouth.)

Also, if your ear is ready for Japanese gagaku, try:
Lady Gagaku レディー雅楽 ("Bad Romance" gagaku, Japanese traditional court music)

Or if you want to hear Mongolian-style xoomei/xoomii throat-singing:
"Wonderwall"
