ESL: English Pronunciation for Professionals

Tuesdays, February 11-April 22  *no class March 24 (10 weeks/15 hours) 

6-8 PM 

Cooney Hall  on main campus

This pronunciation course is for proficient English speakers who want to continue to improve their skills and teaches intermediate reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Students receive instruction from ESL certified instructor and will receive ESL Certificate for completion of the course. Class meets for 1.5 hours each week (15 hours for entire course).  Class requires 4 students to make.

Directions from I-65:

Take exit 255, Lakeshore Drive. From the north, turn left; from the south, turn right. Continue on Lakeshore Drive for 2 miles, and turn left into Samford University’s main gate. Then take the first right. Cooney Hall is on your left (Past Reid Chapel & Cumberland Law) Park in any available space. 

Directions from US-31 and US-280:

Exit onto Lakeshore Drive, going west. Continue on Lakeshore, and turn right into Samford University’s main gate.  Then take the first right. Cooney Hall is on your left (Past Reid Chapel & Cumberland Law) Park in any available space. 

Parking:

You will be allowed to park anywhere except Handicap Spaces and Fire Lanes.  No parking permit is required after 5pm.
