Clay Studio for Teens (Ages 13-18)

Wednesdays, January 15-February 26

This class for teens ages 13-18 allows students to get hands-on experience with clay. From basics of hand building to work at the wheel, students will learn how to throw different forms, alter, trim, and glaze. *Limited to 8 students     Tuition includes supplies fee. 

Directions From I-65:

Take exit 255, Lakeshore Drive. From the north, turn left; from the south, turn right. Continue on Lakeshore Drive for about 2 miles.  Go past Samford University’s main gate to the next stop light. Take a right onto Old Montgomery Highway, then the next right onto S. Lakeshore Drive.  We are on the right side of the road, across from the Covenant Presbyterian Church.

Directions From US-31 and US-280:

Exit onto Lakeshore Drive, going west. Turn left at the stop light onto Old Montgomery Highway (it is just west of 31), then the next right onto S. Lakeshore Drive.  We are on the right side of the road, across from the Covenant Presbyterian Church.

Parking:

You will be allowed to park anywhere except Handicap Spaces and Fire Lanes.  No parking permit is required.

  *Please note: no refunds will be given for cancellations made after 5 business days prior to the start of class*

* Class may be moved to virtual if required by the university.

* $30 processing fee for all cancellations
