Art For Home Schoolers (Ages 6-12)

Get ready for a colorful adventure through the world of art! In this fun and inspiring class, kids will explore the work of famous artists and create their own masterpieces. Along the way, we’ll learn about the building blocks of art—like color, shape, and texture—while experimenting with all kinds of materials and techniques. From painting and drawing to mixed-media surprises, every class is a chance to imagine, discover, and create something amazing. Whether you’re a budding Picasso or just love to make things, this class is the perfect place to grow your creativity and have fun doing it! Maximum 10 students.
Directions From I-65:
Take exit 255, Lakeshore Drive. From the north, turn left; from the south, turn right. Continue on Lakeshore Drive for about 2 miles. Go past Samford University’s main gate to the next stop light. Take a right onto Old Montgomery Highway, then the next right onto S. Lakeshore Drive. We are on the right side of the road, across from the Covenant Presbyterian Church.
Directions From US-31 and US-280:
Exit onto Lakeshore Drive, going west. Turn left at the stop light onto Old Montgomery Highway (it is just west of 31), then the next right onto S. Lakeshore Drive. We are on the right side of the road, across from the Covenant Presbyterian Church.
Parking:
You will be allowed to park anywhere except Handicap Spaces and Fire Lanes. No parking permit is required.
