Description

Connections is a CHS fellowship initiative to encourage collaboration among the four schools. The emphasis is on highlighting the three main areas of the professorate: teaching, learning, and scholarship. Faculty members will give brief presentations. Lunch will be provided.

Please join us to hear presentations from our colleagues. Details on the presentations are below.

Department of social work faculty members Jean Roberson, assistant professor, and Lyndsay Clark, instructor, will speak about the Institute on Faith and Simulation for Social Work. This event brought together social work educators from across the country to explore the role of simulation in preparing students to integrate spiritual perspectives into professional practice.

Dana Blake, associate professor in the department of physical therapy, will discuss professionalism and the department's clinical placement process.

Marigene Chamberlain, director of Costa Rica Programs and Operations, will speak about the Finca de Samford property and academic programming.
