Participants will cook alongside registered dietitian-nutritionists to learn how to build delicious and nutritious plates for meals and snacks with the goal of developing a positive relationship with food and cooking. The mission of Samford Wellness Kitchen is to offer hands-on culinary nutrition classes, with a focus on 'Food is medicine' for community members, Samford students and employees.
Parents- when completing the form for your child, please click the "Are you registering for someone else" toggle option and enter YOUR NAME. You will be able to enter your child's name in the box labeled "Student's Name" toward the end of the page.
Tuition includes apron, cooking supplies, and student-prepared lunch. Students must bring their own snacks. We will not offer early drop-off or late pick-up. More details will be sent closer to camp start date via email.
You can register for multiple children but only one at a time. Please only register your child for one camp (not both). Both camps are identical in content.
PLEASE NOTE: No refunds will be given for cancellations after June 1st. There is a $25 cancellation processing fee for cancellations before June 1st.

Directions from I-65:
Take exit 255, Lakeshore Drive. From the north, turn left; from the south, turn right. Continue on Lakeshore Drive for about 2 miles. Go past Samford University's main gate and travel past the next stop light. You will see a sign for Samford University College of Health Sciences on the left. Make that left turn and drive along the rock wall road to the upper parking deck. The building will be on your right.

Exit onto Lakeshore Drive, going west. Continue past Old Montgomery Highway. You will see a sign for Samford University College of Health Sciences on the right. Make that right turn and drive along the rock wall road to the upper parking deck. The building will be on your right.
Parking: You will be allowed to park anywhere except Handicapped spaces and Fire Lanes. No parking permit is required.Please email Sally Holmes (sholmes4@samford.edu) for more information.
