Macrophotography

Location: Propst 315/Field Trips
Instructor: Meg McKinney
Make photographs that are bigger than real life, by learning to use macrophotography techniques, and photograph close-up details and textures of objects. A macro lens is suggested but not required; course will suggest other optics that can create macro images.
Prerequisites: Photography I, Understanding Your Nikon/Canon/mirrorless
Requirements: DSLR Camera, Tripod, strobe flash and/or small portable light
Ages 18+
* Please note: no refunds will be given for cancellations made after 7 business days prior to the start of class.
* $40 credit card processing fee for all cancellations
Directions from I-65:
Take exit 255, Lakeshore Drive. From the north, turn left; from the south, turn right. Continue on Lakeshore Drive for 2 miles, and turn left into Samford University’s main gate. Then take the first right. Propst Hall is the first building on the right. Room 315
