Class meets on campus Mondays, September 14-November 16 6-8 PM (10 weeks/20 hours)

This course teaches basic reading, writing, listening, speaking and pronunciation skills. Ages 18+

ESL: English Basics for Beginners

Mondays, September 14-November 16 (10 weeks/20 hours)

Russell Hall 227

This course teaches basic reading, writing, listening, speaking and pronunciation skills. Students receive instruction from ESL certified instructor and will receive ESL Certificate for completion of the course. Class meets for 3 hours each week (30 hours for entire course).*Please note: no refunds will be given for cancellations made after 5 business days prior to the start of class. Class requires 4 students to make.

Directions from I-65:

Take exit 255, Lakeshore Drive. From the north, turn left; from the south, turn right. Continue on Lakeshore Drive for 2 miles, and turn left into Samford University’s main gate. Then take the first right. Russell Hall is the first building on your left. Park in any available space. Room 227

Directions from US-31 and US-280:

Exit onto Lakeshore Drive, going west. Continue on Lakeshore, and turn right into Samford University’s main gate. Then take the first right. Russell Hall is the first building on your left. Park in any available space. Room 227

Parking:

You will be allowed to park anywhere except Handicap Spaces and Fire Lanes. No parking permit is required after 5pm.
