Project:
Ligand and Complex synthesis for PDTs
...more on that project here.

Collin Plourde is a first year student at the McWhorter School of Pharmacy. He is hoping to go into nuclear pharmacy after graduation and eventually do pharmaceutical research. Even though he is a graduate student he is still involved on campus with his fraternity and the percussion ensemble.

I am a senior at Samford University and am a pre-vet student majoring in Biological Sciences and minoring in Spanish. I am currently applying to veterinary school and hope to go into exotic veterinary medicine.

Some of my hobbies include reading Harry Potter and the Lord of the Rings and working at the local humane society.

I’m Brooke Clark from Trenton, GA. I’m a P1 student this year at Mcwhorter School of Pharmacy here on campus at Samford. In my free time I enjoy playing video games, visiting coffee shops with friends, playing intramurals and watching Netflix. I hope, once I finish pharmacy school, that I can continue doing research on developing cancer medications after I pursue a pharmacy residency.

I am a junior biochemistry major. I am from Tupelo, Mississippi. I plan to go to either medical school or dental school following graduation. On campus, I am chaplain of the Samford organization SAVE (sustaining a village everyday), treasurer of Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor society, community service chair of Alpha Epsilon Delta Prehealth Honor Society, and a member of the Chi Omega sorority. Outside of school, I enjoy running, reading, and spending time with friends and my six brothers and sisters.

In high school, Bryan earned the rank of Eagle Scout and was a multi-medalist in tumbling in the Junior Olympic National Championships. A National Merit Scholar, Bryan has continued his history of academic achievement by receiving many awards and honors from the Howard College of Arts and Sciences, including being chosen for the Dean’s List every semester. He is also a brother of Sigma Chi fraternity and competed with them in Step Sing 2014 and 2015, helping to win third and first place respectively. Bryan served on the freshman representative council during his freshman year, mentored new students as a resident assistant during his sophomore year, and lead the incoming freshman this fall as a connections leader. Bryan also currently works at the HUB.

I am a junior pre-pharmacy major and was recently accepted into McWhorter School of Pharmacy. I will begin my P1 year in the fall. I am also the Recruitment and Marketing VP of Alpha Delta Pi sorority here at Samford.

I hope to use my research experience to better myself for my career as a clinical/inpatient pharmacist at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital one day. That being said, I am very interested in cancer research - pediatric, especially.

My hobbies include cooking, running, piano, traveling, and drinking too much coffee.
